Explore the 3D models of the collection of maquettes of Museo Egizio. You can
observe their internal in wood and wax.
These artefacts, made in Egypt in the
nineteenth century and arrived at the museum in the 1823, represent monuments
of Egypt and Nubia: temples, portals and an obelisk.
Some of these monuments have been moved
following the ‘UNESCO International Campaign to save the Nubian temples’ during
the 1960s.
You can explore them through the
interactive map on the right: blue tag for the monuments moved in other parts
Egypt; yellow tag for the temples relocated in other continents. Or you can have
a preview of the 3D models in the list below.
For further information, you can go to the museum
collection!
